The Edward Hamilton Inman House, the Swan House, is located at the Atlanta History Center. It was designed by Philip Trammel Shutze in 1928.
Swan is the motif of the house, you will see swan everywhere from roof, wall to furniture and even dinning silverwares.
This is a place most tourists missed.

This is located near the History Center and is one of the best places to have a wedding or a fine dining experience in Buckhead.
The restaurant serves old-style southern fine cooking with white tablecloth service, and is a great place for a meeting, reception or holiday celebration.
They advertise it as a Ladies who Lunch spot.....

Definitley check out the Swan House. Swan House is part of the Atlanta History Center and price of admission is only 15$! They have 7 different exhibits and admission to Swan House and another historic house on property is free with general admission! We took a guided tour through the house and it was truly fascinating!

It costs $50 for general admission. Since we were students on a budget, we decided to have lunch at the restaurant. The food was delicious (I had the crispy chicken wrap) and the complimentary muffins were also very good. The servers were kind and treated us very well. We ended our time there by asking the hostess to point us in the direction of the house so we could take pictures and she gave us all bottles of water for the walk!

This elegant mansion is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and has become an Atlanta landmark. It was built in 1928 for the Inman family and designed by well-known Atlanta architect Philip Trammell Shutze. Edward H Inman, heir to a large cotton brokerage fortune amassed in the post-Civil War, New South era, was a wealthy Atlanta businessman with interests in real estate, transportation and banking. Original antiques and reproductions furnish Swan House, which shows the lifestyle of a wealthy Atlanta family in the 1930s.

A: No, most of the shopping has moved out of Downtown, unfortunately. It's a fairly easy MARTA trip up to Buckhead or to Lenox Square though.
