Shane's Rib Shack: Great Tasting ribs and Sauces

It looked like a lot of time went into the preparation of he ribs, and the result is very good. Even though it looks like a fast food joint, it really is an order at the counter place, and they bring out the food when done. Prices were really reasonable at $

Favorite Dish: The ribs were wonderful, but also the pulled pork sandwich was super tasting.

I had a combination plate of shrimp, white fish, and some calamari. It was cool upon arrival, and fried seafood is greasy going down. Micky had a fired Mahi fish, and it also was cool/warm. Prices were $15 and $14 respectively. The place maybe had a claim to fame in old times, but now it is getting stale, and the waitresses are the same ones hanging on to the old days. Locals come here, though because choices not that many.

Favorite Dish: The fried shrimp was maybe the best of the plate.

They have burgers, pasta, fish and seafood platters, and steaks. The burgers were about $8-9. and steaks $15-20. Overall the menu look appealing

Favorite Dish: The burger I had with a load of fries was very good, and the beef high quality and lean meat.

  • WILLIE'S WEENY WAGON: BEST HOTDOG AND A FUN PLACE TO EAT

by greatblu Written Sep 13, 2010

This is simply a hot dog joint, but boy what a great place it is. Simple enough, hotdogs with topping served hot and fresh with a cold glass of sweet tea. This locally black owned restaurant serves up excellent hot dogs and fresh buns and wonderful toppings of your choice. They also have the best fried pork chop sandwich in the world. Such a simple place but the service is great and the food is better. Stop by and have a dog while visiting SE Georgia.

Favorite Dish: I love the Slaw Dog, a hot dog covered with fresh cole slaw. My wife loves the Brunswick Dog covered in fried peppers and onions. Remember to ask for hot peppers on the side, delicious.

  • Willie's Weinie Wagon: Willie's Weinie Wagon

This is a drive in---walk up to order. Your entire order is yelled out when it is ready, so if you're embarrassed about the amount you are going to eat, you had better do separate orders!!

Favorite Dish: Willie's all the way w/Sauerkraut and fried onions

It all was very good, and this place is famed from far away for its special and good tasting dogs.

Favorite Dish: The cheese dog was very good and the combo with tomato topped off the succulent taste of the dog
