Fall Branch Falls visit
Nearby to Ellijay are plenty of falls and lakes to visit, and this trip we made it to Fall Branch Falls after about 30 minute drive through the backroads of the mountains. The parking area is off Stanley Creek Road close to Aska Road. The hike took about 15 minutes up to the falls with spots at the top and bottom for viewing....Hope to come back when we can get wet in warmer times!

well i went there and didn't find a fort but they say that some people from some other country came here a long time ago and built a fort. we had to pay 2.00 to park there the whole day. walked up a path that had gavel on it and it took about 45 mins still no fort only some building that was built a few years ago. and there ant no bathroom up there so you got to hold it till you walk back down. almost peed in my pants. so don't walk up there if you think you might have to go pee.
