    the greene county gaol (jail) was built in 1807 and is the oldest jail in georgia. this dungeon was in use between 1807 and 1895. there is a trap door between the first and second floors were criminals were hanged. tours by appointment only. tours can be aranged at the chamber of commerce or call 706-453-7592.

    the greene county historical society is open by appointment only. to see the greensboro historical museum you must arrange a tour at the chamber of commerce or call 706-453-7592.

    If you don't know Pizza Hut then you're probably not from the US or you are from a VERY, VERY small town. In that case...try it! It's very popular with over 500 restaurants (just kidding...I don't know how many for real). However, it's good pizza. Make sure you try some thin crust!!

    PS.....They have a buffet during regular lunch hours (11am-2/3pm) so I would recommend that especially if you're been driving all morning and are STARVING!!!

    Favorite Dish: Thin crust pepperoni pizza!!!!!!
