  • Picketts Mill State Historical Site

Pickett's Mill is actually located in Ackworth, but it is so connected to the civil war history that it seemed better to put the tip here. Like Kennesaw Mountain, Picketts Mill was the site of a civil war battle. Here the Confederates held their ground and pushed back the advance of the Union. Perhaps its due to its out of the way location or the...

Kennesaw Police are very active so watch your speed while driving around this city. The police station is in the historic part of Kennesaw across the RxR tracks from The General. But the town is ultra safe.... prob. because they are so active.
