the pig in a pit is located on hancock street in the middle of milledgeville's entertainment area. this small restaurant serves good georgia style barbeque. the decor of the pig in a pit is nothing special but they offer good inexpensive food.

located on hancock street is the brick restaurant and bar. the brick serves casual fare such as pizza, wings, and sandwiches. very good beer selection. at nights they offer live entertainment. see their website for a schedule of events. the clientelle is mostly college students. a fun place to drink beer in millegdeville.
