Piccadilly's: One of the few remaining cafeterias

by dustmon Written Jul 18, 2010
    Southlake Piccadillys

One of the last cafeterias around in the Atlanta area, alot of the Piccadillys have closed but his one is still around next to Southlake Mall----the Dilly plate is still a major draw for lunch or dinner and desserts are good or better as well....
veggies are usually a little overcooked and casseroles are salty but I still love coming here when in the area.....

Favorite Dish: veggie plate with cornbread and unsweet tea
maybe some red velvet cake if available

    Olive Garden: good lunch option

by dustmon Updated Jul 18, 2010
    Southlake Olive Garden

I have mostly gone here for lunch and gotten the lunch special, which is all the breadsticks, soup, and salad you can eat for about $6-7. Pasta Fagioli soup and fresh salad with a couple of bread sticks is good for my lunch and it is good and fresh. They have plenty of other choices including seafood, pasta and other soups available.
    chain restaurant with good food....

    Sonny's: BBQ less optioned

by dustmon Written Jul 18, 2010
    sonnys southlake

A chain in the Atlanta area that I would recommend staying away from----I can taste no flavor from the meat, and the sides are cloying and sweet. There are plenty of other choices in the area, so do not go here unless under orders.....
