A perfect day would be to go to nice restaurant for Southern cooking at Eric's on Mt.Zion Rd and enjoy the BarBque, Catfish, Happy hour and Jazz music. Then go to the movies at the AMC theatre and call it a night. The next day go work out at LA fitness which is right next to the theatre after having lunch at the Atlanta Bread & Company or at Moe's...more

I have mostly gone here for lunch and gotten the lunch special, which is all the breadsticks, soup, and salad you can eat for about $6-7. Pasta Fagioli soup and fresh salad with a couple of bread sticks is good for my lunch and it is good and fresh. They have plenty of other choices including seafood, pasta and other soups available.chain...more
One of the last cafeterias around in the Atlanta area, alot of the Piccadillys have closed but his one is still around next to Southlake Mall----the Dilly plate is still a major draw for lunch or dinner and desserts are good or better as well....veggies are usually a little overcooked and casseroles are salty but I still love coming here when in...more

Stay on the outskirts near Atlanta without the headaches and stay at the Sleep Inn on Exit 231 south off of I-75. It is ideally situated right off the exit and even with a bus stop right in front. You get everything you need as if you were in Atlanta as well.
Lot of headaches in around Downtown Atlanta. Morrow is a nicer, more tolerable alternative.
Unique Suggestions: Avoid rush hour.
Fun Alternatives: Stay on the outskirts of Atlanta like in Morrow where you have everything and stay convienently off exit 231 at the Sleep Inn. You can 't go wrong.
I love the Sleep Inn Hotel located in Morrow, Ga right off of the freeway. It is in an ideal locationn right off the freeway. The leader in the group of hotels in that area with McDonalds next door, Boston Pizza Sports Bar and Grill across the street and Chilis as well. Staff and accomodations were great. City is appealing with alot of things to do...more
