It began with two friends I knew who had the desire to create a friendly, fun atmosphere while providing the freshest homemade soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts. Deborah and Chef Carol purchased this 1898 home in March 2003, with the intention of renovating it into a lunch restaurant and using the commercial kitchen for catering.
Favorite Dish: Healthy, meal for you and your family so you don't have to cook. There usually one, two or three scrumptious selections daily, crafted by Chef Carol.

Golden's is a cafeteria-style restaurant. This is a good thing because you don't have to wait for a waitress to bring your food out!
Favorite Dish: The fried shrimp and the banana pudding are my two favorite dishes.

Great Place to Stay When Driving Through Atlanta
I came to Newnan on my way from Houston to North Carolina to see my nephews. I stopped here at the Hampton Inn to get a good night sleep. Everything was great.
Newnan is a city located about 30 minutes south from Atlanta; just take I-85 South. If you like Victorian houses, you MUST go there -- there are many old beautiful houses in Newnan.
