chattooga county courthouse

the chattooga county courthouse was built in 1908 in the neoclassical style. the courthouse was designed by the bryan architectural firm. this interesting building is almost identical to the appling county courthouse in baxley georgia.

Being Polite

it is customary to leave tips when dining out, getting haircuts, or having food delivered.
most people here are very friendly and will offer assistance if your vehicle breaks down, or you are walking in the rain, etc...of course use common sense and have a mind to your safety before you accept

Favorite thing: in the summer be prepared for temperatures daily in the 90 degree range with very high humidity...
in the spring sudden severe storms, and high winds..
winter is really our rainy season, but it rarely snows or ices over here

Fondest memory: fondest memory is just living here..it is very quiet and peaceful growing up here, and there is low crime
