    the chattooga county courthouse was built in 1908 in the neoclassical style. the courthouse was designed by the bryan architectural firm. this interesting building is almost identical to the appling county courthouse in baxley georgia.

    The food is very good and served Hot....also very reasonably priced with free nachos and home made salsa that is to die for....they are the only resteraunt in town that serves beer or wine with a meal My favorite is special dinner #13....chile relleno with tortilla and burrito stuffed with great meat

    it is customary to leave tips when dining out, getting haircuts, or having food delivered.
    most people here are very friendly and will offer assistance if your vehicle breaks down, or you are walking in the rain, etc...of course use common sense and have a mind to your safety before you accept
