Luggage and bags: A simple backpack will do and make sure to pack light.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Wear light clothing and strong hiking shoes. Make sure you feel very comfortable.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: It's good to pack along some bandages, hydrocortizone cream, anti-biotic ointment, and sunscreen. It's rare to run into weird bugs and if you do, none are poisonous here so don't worry about bug repelent.
Photo Equipment: Always a must for any VTer!
Miscellaneous: Always, ALWAYS!! Water is very important so pack lots.

Luggage and bags: Bring a backpack for your hike
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Comfortable covered shoes, a raincoat or umbrella would nice to have on hand ... though if you stay at KMC, they do have umbrellas in the rooms, and sell those cheap raincoats at the camp store.
