Tex Drive-In is famous the world over for its malasadas (deep fried dough bathed in sugar). You may want to try the bavarian cream filled ones, oh heavenly! The items on the menu may seem pricey but hey, get used to it if you're in Hawaii. The portions you get are generous and worth the price. Everything is prepared fresh so you may be in for a bit of a wait.
Favorite Dish: Their meatloaf and french fries combo rules all! They've also got a good breakfast menu but I prefer their lunch and dinner choices. They use 100% local grown Kamuela beef as well.
