Fondest memory: Anaehoomalu Bay is one of those oases. Somehow the lava spared this lovely spot. There have always been fresh water springs, and the ancient Hawaiians used to keep fish here (ancient equivalent to a fridge?). Never before have I seen such beautiful sunsets as here on the beach in Anaehoomalu Bay.
