Lu Lu's, Kailua-Kona
The most happening night club on the Big Island people from other side of the island drive two hours to get there just to party:)
Located on Ali'i Drive on the waterfront. Best times to get is later in the evening, its the only happening club in Kona.
Its a casual dress code, and its open to watch sunset and get the cool ocean breeze.
Dress Code: Casual nightclub wear. Open air, Kona is pretty warm climate. Wear whatever feel hot it. Its Kona's hot spot where the locals and tourists mingle.
Our night life is none existing.....a place to dance...bring your own squiz is 'Lulu's' and next to hard rock caffe is the bolliboll court and it is a game allmost every night....
the most exicting night outting is the lava flow....2 hour south of town at the bottom of the vulcano national park it is best to start at arround 4 and wait for the sun to set...a magic show will start...we use to bring crackers and mashmallows to eat with a stick and cook it on the lava until 3 tourist fall in and .....die, so the park close the proximity to the flow
Dress Code: good shoes, flash light and lots of water.
My husband and I saw a horrible, horrible fight in this place last night and the bouncers/management literally did NOTHING! There were so many people involved and at no time did the management even attempt to take control of the place. A group of guys jumped on one guy and no one stepped in. It was horrible. If you value your safety at all, STAY FAR AWAY! Bouncers just watched. They deserve to lose their establishment for what they let happen there last night! I hope they do.
LuLu's is a perfect place to unwind after a long day on the beach. Food and drinks are ok - enjoyed more for the atmosphere. Go and grab a bar seat looking out to Ali'i drive or the ocean and do some people watching.
Dress Code: Very casual.
went into Lu Lus last sat. morning...took forever to get a drink ..breakfast was served with runny gross eggs and manager was to busy viewing football to cook so he asked me to leave when I complained..The place was filthy and Locals tell me its always making someone sic..Very rude manager but scince I own the largest construction business on the island asked my 88 people not to use this filthy rude business
Dress Code: gross
We never quite made it to this place, even though it was just across the road from Huggo's... Looked interesting though...
