    King Kamehameha Statue

Looking for something neat to see on the Big Island ? why not take a drive out to the North Kohala side of the island and see the original King Kamehameha statue in Kapa'au. Years ago, the statue was on it's way to Hawaii, but lost at sea. Another one was made, and set on O'ahu. The original, once found, was retrieved from sea and placed near the birth town (Kohala) of King Kamehameha on the Big Island.
