    Akaka Falls

About 15 miles north of Hilo, in the heart of the Windward sugar country is the Akaka Falls State Park. This makes for a very pleasant stop along the Windward Coast.

Umauma Falls - This is on the rainy side of The Big Island. The drive around and to these falls is beautiful, and there is also a little rain forest you can visit.
