    Take a slow drive north as far as you can go. The road at times seems only a few feet away from the sea - its not a long drive and relatively quiet. Just pull off at the many beaches along the road

    The mountain backdrops to the beaches have to be seen to be believed. Take a trip up the river to The Fern Grotto, those of you old enough to remember Elvis in Blue Hawaii might recognise the grotto
