Kapaa Things to Do

Go hook some dinner. Watch as your friends barf up breakfast over the side of the boat. Barf up your breakfast over the side of the boat. Brain a big fishy with a baseball bat.

I called several places to price them out, Hawaiian Style Fishing had the best deal. $95 per person for 4 hours and a maximum of four people at a time.

Ya wanna find a way to make your whole body feel like it was beat repeatedly with a large stick? Go kayaking!
Three out of five people had fun. Our super-guide, Terry, tossed some kayaks in the river, said, 'Hop in...uhhh, do you guys know how to swim?...uhhh, okay.' and we were off. We paddle a mile or two up the river, hiked a mile or so to a waterfall. Stayed there and swam round in it for a little while, then headed on back. Two folks in our group were a bit PO'd because there was no instruction or guidance, I enjoyed this excursion because it wasn't so 'guided'.

Make sure you save time (and money) to take a helicopter ride along the coast. (Unfortunately I didn't).

Downtown Kapa'a had alot of little restaurants and shops. Its about two or three blocks long and you can find tons of places to eat here. Its very convenient if you are staying around here.
