The non-profit Hawaii Natural History Association (HNHA) operates three bookstores at Haleakala National Park. HNHA also maintains an online bookstore. Proceeds directly benefit research, educational, and environmental programs at Haleakala National Park
What to buy: I bought this little stuffed bird as a present for my little sister. It squawks when you press a button on the back (photo 2). It was $8.98 (photo 4). I also bought a National Park Passport book (photo 3) which you can get stamps in at any National Park that you visit.
They also have hoodies if you haven't brought a coat and it gets cold, and other items about the park

This shop has items to purchase for gifts or for greater understanding of the Hawaiian volcanoes. Proceeds from the sales in park visitor centers and the web site are returned directly to the Park Service. There is also an on-line store.

One of the particularly appropriate items are sweatshirt "hoodies" because the weather can be quite cold
What to pay: A hoodie is $39.95 and there are also "Endemic" T-shirts for $29.95. But there are items as cheap as $1.50 (the certificate) and the stamps, pins, and patches are also very reasonable.
