I believe he plays most Monday nights. I would go out of my way just to see this guy, he was amazing, and it was a life moment I will never forget. He rocks out, then will play an amazing version of Somewhere over the Rainbow. His genre I would say is influenced heavily by, BB King, Jimi Hendrix, Santana, Buddy Guy.... Take some extra money to pick up his CD, Live at Hapas, two disk set. You will not be dissapointed, we were mezmorized by his talent and happy nature! Could not say enough about this guy, if you are anywhere near Kihei, go and see him.

Kihei is probably not the best place on Maui to stay if you're heavy into nightlife.
There are a number of great restaurants and some local 'watering holes', but not much in the way of entertainment such as music, clubs or dancing.
