Favorite thing: KIHEI
Fondest memory: Kehei(key-hay) is a nice little beach town about 30 miles south of Lahaina on the same side of the island. it's got a really nice beach and there's all kinds of stores to rent scuba and surf gear. Also, they have some great houses with lofts and kitchens for rent.(Sorry, I don't know the name). If you tell your travel agent you want to rent a house in Kehei they will know which ones I'm talking about.

Favorite thing: Stay on the leeward side of the island (i.e.Lahaina, Kaanapali, Kapalua, etc.). It is the drier side of the island so you can expect fewer tropical showers and warmer temperatures. Lahaina in Hawaiian means 'cruel sun'.
Fondest memory: Lounging on Kaanapali beach! There is a great snorkel/dive spot right off the beach (Black Rock). During the summer the beach can get a littel crowded, but certainly not uncomfortable. It's really a great beach for just laying around and swimming. Below you'll see Kaanapali Beach from Black Rock.

Favorite thing: Having a group picture taken with some well trained parrots. They left no residue on your shoulders, clothing, etc.

Favorite thing: This is an interesting ride. Unfortunately we were dragged to the other end of the ride for the start of the trip. Therefore, we only took half of it.

Favorite thing: Head over to Wailuku and in the shopping mall enjoy the music and dancing preformed by the locals. There seems to be a couple of blond haired foreigners in this group.

Favorite thing: Sightsee the whole Island. Heres a coastal picture that doesn't have one of those beautiful beaches that Hawaii is noted for.
