Walk the Marinia and go Sport Fishing with THE FINEST KIND.
Sportfishing is such a great experience! The Finest Kind has been around for over 30 years and is owned by a friend of ours, he knows the waters and is by far the best on Maui! http://www.fishingmaui.com/main-top.html
Check out Lahaina
See my separate Lahaina Highlights Travelogue for more photos.
Bike down Haleakala. You get to see one of the most beautiful sunrises, then you cruise down this ancient volcano, the operative words are 'cruise down'! You do hardley any peddaling and you are able to see some of Maui's microclimates.
Also, a sunset cruise on the Kapalua Kai. They leave right from Kaanapali Beach and take you out on a huge catamaran to watch the sunset. The crew is very friendly and from Dec.-Apr., you'll probably see humpback whales.
Naw, not one of my own pics. But it shows nicely how the road runs and how close you´ll be to the crater once you´re up.
Go up on Haleakala in the early hours and enjoy the sunrise from up there. It´s a bit windy, so bring warm clothes.
From up on top, you can look right into the crater - but also get a fantastic view of the shield volcanoes of the Big Island which is not too far away.
Splash around in the pool at the base of Twin Falls
Cruise just offshore at sunset while eating, drinking and dancing on the Maui Princess
Take a 60 minute helicopter ride around the island of Maui
You get to see so many waterfalls that you would never get to see otherwise
