Whalers Village in Kaanapali, Maui
Cruise is one of the many shops located at the Whalers Village. This shop carries women's swim and resort wear. My wife who has an ample collection of swimsuits had to check this place out and see if there was anything to add to her collection at home.
They did have a nice assortment of swimwear, hats and coverups in a multitude of colors. My wife only found one swimsuit she liked; the top was nice but the bottoms were not to her style preference. Oh well, maybe next time.
What a very nice shopping center right next to the beach! And, some nice restaurants along a walking path with great view right along the ocean. What more can you ask for? I especially like this store called Totally Hawaiian. A gift shop with beachy things but nice quality items that you would want to buy for your home.
Whaler's General Store has everything you could want or need under one roof. They carry local crafts, Hawaiian Souvenirs and gifts, snacks, liquor, sunscreen, candy, jewelry, toys, books, etc. My wife and I found ourselves exploring this shop on Front Street during our stop in Lahaina.
They have a nice selection of souvenir items that are nicely constructed and not cheap looking as they can be at other stores. My wife and I found a tin of Macadamia Nut Cookies that had a picture of a Dog and Cat on the cannister that read, "Maholo for Watching our Pets". This became a perfect gift for our friend Lydia back home who was watching our Kitty Stevie while we were away.
Nice looking jewelry, but not well made - When the gemstones fell out of the ring I purchased, they refused to stand behind the product and were quite rude
What to buy: nothing from this store in Whaler's village
What to pay: they will negotiate quite quickly on price, but no amount is worth defective merchandise
Whalers Village is a very nice shopping center located right along the walkway on Ka’anapali Beach. Many upscale companies have locations here, including Tiffany & Co., Louis Vuitton and Coach. Also here are several shops that sell surfing gear and apparel, and a few different choices for restaurants are available. The museum within Whalers Village is a great place to learn about the history of whaling that took place here during the 19th century, and there are many family activities and presentations held throughout the year. It's location is perfect for people staying in one of the many hotels along Ka'anapali.
Whalers village is a multiplex outdoor shopping mall set in the Kaanapali region of Lahaina. There are a meriod of high to low ends stores with something for everyone. In addition to the shopping there is a fast food court and several adjacent restaurants. Whaler's villages is located immediately adjacent to a beach making it easy for those family and friends who want to shop to do so while the others members can be close by enjoying the beach.

This multi-level shopping mall is partially located on the beach in the heart of the Ka'anapali Beach Resort area. There are about 50 stores & restaurants. Many of the shops are upscale and include Louis Vuitton, Ferragamo, Versace & Chanel.
There is a free Whaling Museum exhibiting artifacts, old photos and the history of Lahaina's whaling era from 1825-1860. It's very interesting and informative and worth a trip to the mall even if you aren't a shopper. The Whaling Museum is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. (808) 661-5992.
Hula dancers perform outside weeknights from 7-8 p.m. No admission is charged.
Two very popular restaurants, Hula Grill and Leilani's on the Beach are, you guessed it, beachfront and have wonderful views of the ocean. They are open for lunch & dinner and have nightly entertainment.
Mall is open 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily
Whalers Village is like a small mall with many shops. Most of the shops are high end shops like Gucci, Tiffany's, Coach, Versace and more.
There are other shops that are more in-line with what the majority of people can afford. One great store was the Endangered Species store.
It's worth a visit and bring money. You never know what you will fall in love with in the store window.
What to buy: Clothing and souveneirs.
What to pay: Depends on what you buy...it may get expensive.
