Island Luaus, Honolulu

Fondest memory: Here is a picture of one of the parties (luau) that I was at in Honolulu. All that is required is that you relax (hang loose) and have a good time. 'Hang Loose' is a phrase used everywhere over there. It means to relax, take it easy.

Favorite thing: go to the Polynesian Cultural Center. Here you will see the best Hawaiin dancers put on a stunningly fabulous show. Dancers from all the Islands (Hawaii, Polyenisia, Tongo, etc) put on a GREAT show. You can go to the show only or to the dinner & show or the luuo and show - whatever you choose you WILL enjoy it!

Fondest memory: walking on the beaches.....walking though the fancy hotels...... the beautiful scenery ...... I left my heart in Waikiki, don't trip over it please when you go!

Favorite thing: Go to Paradise Cove for a luau. This luau is very different than the ones offered at the hotel. The Paradise Cove luau is an evening long event that includes lei making, face and body paintings, traditional Hawaiian games and dancing. This is an authentic luau.

Favorite thing: When you visit Oahu you must go to a luau. Out of all the Islands Oahu has the best ones. Both Paradise Cove and Germaine's Luau are the great. You learn so much about the culture and experience an authentic Hawaiian luau.
