    A SUPER POPULAR PLACE FOR KOREAN FOOD DINING...SEEMS THAT DINNER TIME BRINGS OUT PLENTY FOLK TO EAT THE GOOD FOOD SERVED HERE. SUCH AS..... HAE DUPBAP {RICE TOPPED WITH RAW FISH & VEGETABLES } OR SANCHAE BIBIMBAP...DOISOT BIBIMBAP...AND THE LIST GOES ON. THE FIRST I MENTIONED IS $13.99..SECOND IS $10.99 AND THIRD IS $11.99.     The Dixie Grill is a great place to eat.
    The food and service is excellent, and the atmosphere great... A very relaxed and friendly place, that also serves all those yummy drinks... Mai Tai's were great! And the company.. Fantastic!

    This Japanese chain has started making its mark in the U.S. with stores in Hawaii, California, and Manhattan. Each day they make the traditional vanilla cream variety as well as offer a special of the day. One day the special was chocolate. Another day it was green tea. All cream puffs are filled upon ordering and cost $1.50 each. The pastry portion is also cooked on a regular basis in order to ensure freshness.

    I have to say that these little beauties are a rival to filled malasadas from Leonard's! Still, best to sample both while you're in Honolulu! Good for dessert, breakfast, or an anytime snack!

    Chef Alan Wong's Pineapple Room is located in an unlikely place...on the second floor of Macy's at Ala Moana Shopping Center. The food, though, is anything but pedestrian exhibiting the creative talents of this Island chef. Food is fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Local ingredients are featured including tropical fruits, native fish, and meat are grilled not with mesquite but with kiawe (kee-AH-vay), a native hardwood.

    Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are on offer and all provide a number of choices that will make all members of your dining party happy. Breakfast and lunch prices are accordingly more affordable than dinner, not that dinner prices are exhorbitant for foodies like us. The menu has regular selections plus daily specials featuring items that were obtained fresh that morning. Dinner also offers a fixed-price menu with five courses for $60, quite a deal for a restaurant of this quality.

    The Pineapple Room, while at the major tourist mall in Honolulu, is more frequented by the locals who know a good thing when the taste it!

    Garlic crusted inago, kiawe grilled tenderloin, chocolate crunch dessert, lilikoi cheesecake. Everything I've ever had for breakfast, lunch, and dinner has been great. I seriously don't think you can go wrong here.

    Simply da best! It's not a restaurant. You go in and tell them what you want and they put it in a cardboard box and tie up with red string. But what you get is some of the best dim sum in the Islands! And it's cheap! It's great to stop by and pick up for trips out to the North Shore or just to have as a quick snack. If you're in Chinatown, don't miss Char Hung Sut. But get there fairly early because when they run out of something, there ain't gonna be no more!

    Only open until 2:00pm Monday, Wednesday-Saturday and 12:30pm on Sunday. Closed on Tuesdays.

    Black bean maunapua (white dough with sweek black bean inside)...just like what Gram would bring for us when she visited the Mainland...probably because she got it here.

    THIS IS A NICE SMALL RESTAURANT THAT HAS A BUS STOP RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE FRONT DOOR.SO FOR THOSE THAT ARE ON THERE WAY FROM DOWNTOWN..THEY CAN GET OFF THE BUS AND HAVE A GREAT DINNER AFTER WORK..
    THERE ARE A 117 ITEMS ON THE MENU..FROM A COLD DISH LIST TO THE DESERT LIST AND PRICES RANGING FROM $3 TO $27.
    THE ATMOSPHERE IS PLEASANT AND COMFORTABLE...A GREAT PLACE FOR GETTING TOGETHER WITH A FEW FRIENDS OR JUST SOMEONE SPECIAL...
    IT ISN'T A FANCY PLACE..JUST CASUAL AND NICE.

    This one of the best places because of (1) the variety of food options and (2) it is reasonably cheap. Here you can find food booths that serve up just about every Asian cuisine known to man: Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Filipino, Malaysian, Singaporean, and local. All are freshly made and you'll rack your brain trying to choose from which booth to order. Get your food and eat it at one of the tables or take it outside to the courtyard.

    The booths are generally open from 7am until 3:30pm.

    It's all good. Try the fresh kim chee. If you like kim chee you should also ask for taegu Ispicy marinated dried cuttlefish strips) to go with your order.

    THIS IS ANOTHER OF THOSE GREAT STEAKHOUSES THAT ARE OF THE RUTH'S CHRIS CHAIN. SUPER TASTY STEAK AND SOME NICE SAUCES TO MAKE EACH BITE DELICIOUS!!!!! The Honolulu steakhouse provides guests with a warm, comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant is also handicap accessible.

    IT HAS TO BE THE SIRLOIN WITH THAT FAMOUS SAUCE!!!
