This is a usual Cheeseburger in Paradise chain. Good food and drinks, not outrageously priced.
The couple of times my wife and I passed, there was a waiting line. And we had to wait about 45 minutes when we decided to go. Like I said, good food, but not really worth the wait. Many other restaurants around.
Does have a Gluten-free menu though. Which is nice.
Favorite Dish: Cheeseburger and Fries.
Cheeseburger In Paradise is located on the Diamond Head end of Waikiki and right accross from the beach. This is a fun, colorful place with great atmosphere. Along with lots of live plants throughout the restaurant, it also has lots of colorful wall hangings, statues with whimsical hats, and other interesting decorations. The background music is "beach-boy" type rock and roll. There's also outside seating. But we chose to sit in the cool, somewhat dim, air conditioned inside seating area.
With a name like Cheeseburger in Paradise, you'ld expect there to be lots of different kinds of burgers---and there are. Even a pineapple one! But they also serve traditional breakfasts of eggs and pancakes and such. Or you can just enjoy a drink of wine, beer, or fancy tropical mix.
Cheeseburger In Paradise opened in Waikiki on November 1, 1997. With a motto of "Cheeseburgers, Mai Tais & Rock 'N Roll", you can't help but enjoy yourself here.
Favorite Dish: a burger, of course!
