What an amazing place to eat .
Located in the Pacific Beach Hotel, 26 feet below the surface of the ocean, this restaurant has a view like no other. It features a 280,000-gallon, three-story aquarium with acrylic windows that are four to seven inches thick. While dining you will see everything from Hawaiian stingrays to the state fish, the Humuhumunukunukuapua'a.
While we were eating a young female diver went into the tank to feed the fish, she looked just like a mermaid as the fish followed her around.

Alan Wong's Restaurant, without a doubt, has both incomparable service and food. The staff is informative, friendly (but not overly), and attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere, with its open kitchen, is very relaxed. I suggest the panzanella salad with lobster and the lilikoi cheesecake. All of their food is incredibly flavorful and fresh. For dinner, you can get a 5-course prix fixe menu (without wine) for $65.00 or a 7-course prix fixe menu for $85.00

The Dixie Grill is a great place to eat.

This place may not be much to look at but the breakfast has a gourmet taste at Denny's prices. It can get crowded as it is such a small place but it is worth it. The portions are quite large so you might want to split a dish. There are also really great early riser specials! they keep unusual hours:11:00 PM at Night till

This Japanese chain has started making its mark in the U.S. with stores in Hawaii, California, and Manhattan. Each day they make the traditional vanilla cream variety as well as offer a special of the day. One day the special was chocolate. Another day it was green tea. All cream puffs are filled upon ordering and cost $1.50 each. The pastry portion is also cooked on a regular basis in order to ensure freshness.
I have to say that these little beauties are a rival to filled malasadas from Leonard's! Still, best to sample both while you're in Honolulu! Good for dessert, breakfast, or an anytime snack!
