Honolulu and Waikiki are nothing but one way streets so be sure to have a map handy AHEAD of time. Don't be stuck like we were driving around for two hours, trying to navigate all of the one way streets! We went to Diamond Head Crater and the Blowhole, which weren't all they were advertised to be. Don't waste your time (in my opinion). Actually, I wouldn't waste my time on Oahu at all. Go to one of the smaller islands if you're going to visit Hawaii.

We were disappointed in the sunsets. Only good thing is that they are predictible (same time every day). Vacationers are always lining the shores at 6pm to view the sun dropping into the ocean.
To someone from Manitoba, where a sunset can last for an hour and get much more colourful, the Hawaiian sunsets were no great thing.
It really bugs me now that I didn't bother to take a picture to show you. I will have to save that until our next visit
