My daughter's family went there today for the dolphin encounter. She said the water was absolutely filthy. She said that the park had really gone downhill since we were there 5 years ago. The water was so dirty in the sting ray exhibit that they wouldn't even go in it.
You can't take your own pics so you have to pay their outrageous prices if you want a pic.
Sealife Park was a nice place to visit for free (luckily) ... but if i had to consider the entry fee I wouldn't think it was worth it. It is pretty small and you wouldn't be able to spend a whole day there unless you wanted to pay the big bucks for the extra activities (swimming with dolphins, etc). Kids would probably like the place though - plus you can go to Makapu'u Beach afterwards (across the road).
Great if you have kids...I guess. Expensive and it was pretty lame.
Unique Suggestions: We took plenty of lame pictures with the animals to make it somewhat enjoyable.
