Germaine's is reported to be the best and most authentic luau in the Pacific. You can drive yourself there or take a tour. Tables are set outside under swaying palm trees right on the beach. The show begins early evening and ends as one of those great Hawaiian sunsets slides down the horizon behind you .
There is a cultural show of dancing - Samoan Fire-Knife dance, Tahitian and of course the Hawaiian Hula. Germaine's Luau is a ‘feast’ - so much tantalizing dishes, tropical fruits etc. It’s a lot of fun. The Poi (Taro Potato) was not one of my favourites though.
