    Whale Watching Tours

    4.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

The tours are often expensvie and include lunch and activities - this is because tourists will often have to go out 2 or 3 times to actually see a whale. The cruise was beautiful aboard the Star of Honolulu and being able to see Honolulu and Diamond Head from the water was worth the time, but if you have your hopes set on seeing a humpback whale or other marine life make sure that you set aside enough time in your vacation to go out a few times and bring binnoculars - boats are required by law to stay 100 yards away.

Fun Alternatives: Marine life is abundant around the entire island - check out snorkeling options for up close marine encounters.
