 | Waikiki Restaurants | Tips 1 - 10 of 51 | | This is a bar/restaurant opened 24 hours a day with tables that overlook Waikiki beach. The breakfast was perfect especially while watching the other early risers walking up and down waikiki beach. The bar is open even in the early morning. Wonderful place to watch the pink sky at sunrise and enjoy a cup of coffee. The ambiance is 50's surfer with surfboard on the ceiling and posters from old movies. I just love the giant tiki of Elvis. We came back to this restaurant in July 2006 with my kids and they especially loved the huge selection of hamburgers. For days they raved how good they were!
Eggs Benadict was delicious. Had the wings for lunch once and my son had the Loco Moco (eggs served on hamburger patty on rice with gravy) and he thought it was delicious. Hamburgers. Leave a Comment

One of our favourite places to eat was the CHINA BUFFET RESTAURANT. In the two weeks we were in Honolulu, we ate there three times. The owners always greeted us with a huge smile and personally showed us to our table. The food was always fresh and a good variety of stir-fry dishes, peel and eat shrimp, salad and soup bar and even dessert. Dinner was served Monday to Sunday from 5:30 to 10.30 p.m. and was $9.99. Lunch was 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and was $6.99 Leave a Comment Theme: Chinese/Dim SumPrice: less than US$10 » Currency ConverterComparison: less expensive than averageAddress: 1830 Ala Moana Blvd. HonoluluPhone: 808-955-8817Directions: Walking distance from the Hilton

Duke's is a Waikiki original. Duke was actually a major player on the Waikiki surfer scene, and this is evidenced by all of the old photographs throughout the restaurant. Located beachfront, it makes for great evening dining, and daytime people watching! I would highly recommend the fish there, as they have several different varieties and sauces! Leave a Comment

Located across the street from the Hilton, the WAILANA COFFEE HOUSE was a great location. Hans and I often went there as they had great daily specials. One particular special was two New York steak dinners for $19.90. The steak was cooked perfectly and included your choice of potato and salad bar. Bottomless cup of coffee was $1.25. Also great lunch and breakfast specials. In the photo, the Wailana Coffee House is pictured behind the trolley car across from the Hilton Gardens. I like this restaurant because the fish is fresh, and you cook it yourself, so you get it the way you want it. I have learned to eat fish barely cooked here! We eat here often when we are in Waikiki. Remember, you cook your own entree over large grills at the end of the restaurant. But it is fun and the food is great.
The ahi (yellowfin tuna) is excellent. The salad bar which comes with your entree is more than enough to fill in your meal. I especially like the red potato salad. This is a much overlooked place to eat in Waikiki. It is truly an international foodcourt with food from all over. It is very inexpensive and everyone can get what they want. Seating is scattered throughout the foodcourt. If you have traditional eaters in your group, there are hamburgers, pizza, ice cream.
I like the pho or the bun from the Vietnamese restaurant. Morton's is known for one of the best steakhouse chains across the country, and this location was no exception. We had a great meal, and since the business paid for it, we went for it all! I had the filet oskar, which was a 8 oz filet mignon with a creamy seafood mixture added to the top. One of my co-workers had the lobster tail, and it was delicious! I would also highly recommend the Godiva chocolate dessert! Leave a Comment

We went to this place because of the strange name basically... ;) The menu had a good variety and it looked pretty cool inside. We sat watching the baseball/football/basketball on Tv while we waited for our food... The food was good and the staff were friendly. Prices seemed to range from about US$5-$12 for most things.
I had the nachos...they were yummy but there was way too much for me to eat... Leave a Comment

This restaraunt was recommended by another vtr and it has Hawaiin foods. You can see in this picture some of the different types of foods wrapped in seaweed was pig meat. There is salmon with tomatoes, chicken and coconut pudding. Leave a Comment

You MUST go to dinner at about 5.30 pm to enjoy the Early Bird specials. Ask for an outside table. You will be above the sand, one floor up, overlooking Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head. A million dollar views. there is a nice fresh salad bar to go with your meal. You can choose steak, chicken or fish from the early bird menu.
Steak - cooked the way YOU want it!
