A great place to shopp in IF you know the art of bargain. If you´r not good at bargain then the shopping will be expensive. Besides the shopping you can take something to eat in the International Market Place Food Court (see my tip of the food court in International Market Place, restaurant tip), or you can just walk aroud at the wonderful Market Place.

DONT MISS ALL OF MY VIDEOS OF THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET PLACE

Waikiki's International Market Place is a Hawaiian open-air bazaar of knickknacks, gifts, and other assorted baubles to keep as a memento of Hawaii's distinct beauty. It's history as a market place began on January 16, 1955 when entrepreneur Donn "Don the Beachcomber" Beach announced that a new "Waikiki village" was to be created. The new village was to be called "The International Market Place." There's an international food court on the premises. On the second level you'll also find a surprisingly good Hawaiian art co-op gallery. Live Hawaiian entertainment is presented free of charge every Friday and Saturday evening.

    Open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m

What to buy: Waikiki's International Market Place is a Hawaiian open-air bazaar of knickknacks, gifts, and other assorted baubles to keep as a memento of Hawaii's distinct beauty. The International Food Court offers a variety of local and international cuisine, plus free Hawaiian entertainment five nights a week.

What to pay: Shirts at 6 for $20, maui shorts for $20 and a lot more!

International Market Place: Lots to buy

The International Market Place is a wonderful place to start your Waikiki shopping experience. You can't leave Hawaii without some type of clothing with Hawiian print. That also includes buying some type of flowery jewelery!! The items to buy range from chic to down right gaudy!!

What to buy: Hawaiian Print clothing anything shirt, dress, pants you name it!!
Jewelery there are very inexpensive jewelery pieces that have different hawaiian flowers on them you can buy necklaces, earrings, or toerings. Tiki frame some corny type of frame to put in a memorable picture from your trip!

What to pay: Clothing can be extremely expensive or just expensive but it is definately worth the cost!! The handmade flower jewelery which is sooo cute when you get home is not expensive at all ranging in price from $3.00 to $7.00.
