    Here you are the cook! They just give you the raw materials and instructions. The rest is up to you. It's located right beside Waikiki beach. They also serve good Mai Tai, which you might drink while waiting to be seated. We always visit this place when we are in Honolulu.

    As with many places on Maui, the best part is the view. Sit outdoors on the very large lanai and take in the waterfront action. Some live entertainment but really just a cool place to hang out. Picture shown is (what else?) sunset from the restaurant's deck.

    Good casual fare.

    They have Dee Dee's (Ramones) bass guitar on the wall, Steve Jones (Sex Pistols) guitar above the entrance way, a Beatles shrine, plus countless other cool rock n roll things.

    • Five star food in a one star setting. Relax and enjoy the best food on the Kona side of the Big Island. This place has an offbeat ambience that will make you feel like you know a secret only the locals know.

    Grilled ono. That's a kind of fish.

    Halekulani, House Without a Key, Waikiki.
    Even though the House Without a Key is located right on the beach at Waikiki the atmosphere is quiet and romantic. The usual entertainment includes Kanoe Miller dancing hula to the music of The Islanders. Hula has a kitchy sort of reputation among most mainlanders, but it is beautiful and complex art form that helps define the culture of Hawaii.

    Mai Tai - The best Mai Tai in Hawaii. Don't take my word for it, try it yourself. Each drink is served with an orchid blossom floating on top and sugar cane as a stir stick.

    A roadside stand with a difference.

    Apple banana fruit smoothie. No apples, just apple bananas which have been frozen and whipped up in a blender to make a great cold fruit drink. The best banana smoothies in Hawaii!

    • Hanalei Dolphin Restaurant on Kauai for good food and fresh fish.
    It's right along the Hanalei River, open air, very laid back.

    Catch of the day. 'Fresh' truly means FRESH.

    • I think that the best restaurant that I ate at in Hawaii was called 'The Out Back'
    The theme of the retaurnat is the OutBack of Australia' It is a very family friendy place with lots to look at to keep you busy!

    If you plan on going to have to order the chicken wings, The restaurant has their own special rescipe and it is a muct have!
