    Bardenay’s could be listed under restaurants, but it’s also a bar and a distillery of rum, gin, and vodka, and the atmosphere is more like a bar than a restaurant. The founders had to get Idaho laws changed in order to open their own distillery legally, so a lot of work went into this place! On the menu you’ll find a large appetizer selection, soup, sandwiches, fish tacos, satays, hummus with pitas, etc. – upscale pub food.

    My favorite dish is the appetizer of clams steamed with wine, garlic, and chorizo, a Basque sausage that’s popular here. Most items are under $10, but it's possible to spend more (the beef fillet is close to $20).

    The Flick's is a great place to watch a film. It reminded me of the Alamo Draft House in Austin a place to eat, drink and watch an alternative film. A good evening out!

    • No, this isn't named after Christina Aguilara, although you might find a few of them around there .
    This is actually a concert house and it has a nifty bar and dance floor, plenty of small venue bands perform here regularly and a few big names come here for a close nit performance.
    It is named after New Orleans for some reason.

    If there is a hip hop concert, wear baggy clothes with a baseball cap pulled low. If it is a raggae concert, get some yellows and reds with dreadlocks.

    This one is decent, it is a two level club where there is a band playing on the main floor and one in the basement on the weekends. I am guessing that the better band is on the main floor and the inferior one gets the basement, I could be wrong though.

    It's casual, you won't find too many trendy clubs that have a dress code in Boise.

    • It's a pretty wild bar/restaurant on the weekends, they have three pianos players taking requests. Probably the most lively place on saturday night.
    Haven't tried the food yet.

    Dress like you will be drunk later.

    PI is a really cool club set in downtown Boise. Great live music venue. Great beer selection and Pizza restaurant.

    • A small town, mountain bar. Sometimes the live music is great, sometimes it's not. Pool tables. Fun place to meet up with friends.
