by crazyk The Boise Tour Train: This fake train(basically three open air busses connected) It goes down historic warm springs ave. and harrison blvd. every day and blocks traffic, while the host yells about the ever important history here, which is from the 1920's till now. someday, they will have the meridian tour train with the rich history of my neighborhood there, from the late 1970's till now.
I actually went on this thing and it wasn't that bad, the thing that I noticed is that the natives are much nicer to you when you are in the (three busses combined) train. The history here isn't what you would get back east or in europe, but this is a good way to find your way around. It does block traffic though. Leave a Comment

This is actually a speed trap, it is a fairly wide road and plenty of people use it to get to Curtis Rd from Maple Grove, but it is 25 mph, so you have to be careful.I f you go slightly over 5 mph, they will get you a nice little fine to add to the imported French tile and sculpted mohagony at the new state of the art Ada county courthouse. I never actually believed that a courthouse couldn't get by unless it had imported tile, but a lobbyist told me that it was important. Now I believe it is true...
Go 25, if people tailgate you, go 24.
Ustick rd. is parallel to Northview, and it is 35, so that route or Fairview Ave. would be a better choice. Leave a Comment

Avoid Eagle RD. This is the worst planned Road I have ever seen, they can't seem to stop putting businesses and neighborhoods in this surrounding area, so the traffic can be like a mini Los Angeles. If you are able to get across this road, and you are headed east on fairview Ave, you will have another surprise.... People leaving Wal-mart. They merge onto Fairview with their Huge kids blocking their view of traffic in their Huge SUV so they might just cut you off.
Give yourself about three hours before you go. Leave a Comment
