Great place to see locals, felt right @ home . Saw a great African band at CG's ALIVE AFTER the GRIND concert series . Eclectic outdoor venue, with a unique wine selection. Internet in the courtyard with all the amenities.
Awesome breakfast burritos complete with turkish coffee.
Favorite Dish: Breakfast burrito
The Common Ground Cafe is simply awesome. Besides the great organic coffee and various drinks from around the world, there is also delicious food like breakfast burritos. On any given weekend you have a good chance of finding everyone sitting outside and listening to live music played by small bands with big talent. The unique decor is often offset by cool paintings done by local artists. The chairs and couches are comfortable, and there are computers with internet access. The owner/barista, Brian, is a total music Nazi with great taste, as is shown by the music that's always playing in the background and the hundreds of CD's for sale. It's a great place to go by if you just want a quick cup of coffee or if you plan to spend half an hour or more just sitting and reading with a cup of chai, or even just to meet up with cool people.
Favorite Dish: It's all damn good.
The Mill is without a doubt the best steak/seafood house in McCall, if not the state. Established in 1971 The Mill has offered some of the best steak and seafood in the area!
The atmosphere is casual mountain elegance and in the winter there is an awesome firepit in the lounge that you can warm your body and soul with while enjoying an excellent cocktail!!
On Friday's and Saturday's there is this incredible piano player that totally makes your eveing memorable!
Favorite Dish: The Prime Rib is unequalled anywhere!
When visiting McCall, your trip will not be complete without visiting the Common Ground/ Mananas cafe.
Picture this: You sitting in the relaxing courtyard in the morning and enjoying an excellent cup of coffee in the morning sun and eating a VERY hearty breakfast burrito from Manana's. In the meantime, you can go online to check your E-Mail or just surf the net with your wireless laptop or on one of the computers offered by the host.
The evenings are spectacular with an eclectic blend of music on the bandstand (everything from hillbillie to house) and world class wines and beers to choose from while enjoying a burrito from Manana's.
Favorite Dish: The burritos from Manana's are AWESOME!!!
This is the first restaurant that I visited since moving here that had a particular menu item that stood out for me! It is always important to have one special meal at a special place...Romano's had that!!!
Favorite Dish: If you purchase a complete dinner for around 15 dollars, you will get fresh bread, dipping sauce, and a family style antipasto salad. My fav dish is this really great angel hair pasta in a bleu cheese sauce! Very Rich!!! Very good with the house Merlot!
In the Hotel McCall the Epeicuean is the best place in
great small setting, with the best service
Favorite Dish: Mahi Mahi in a pecan sauce. Over bok choy, with sweet potatoe cakes. Just wonderfull with the fresh salad.
