If you are coming from out of town in this theme park, you want to make sure to pack your lunches and go back to your car and eat it!The staff won't allow anybody to bring food in the theme park, but the selection of food at the restaurant is very limited to cold food and some heated foods like hot dogs and microwavable food only. There is a...

  • Garfield and Snoopy

Part of our package deal was to have lunch at Lindy's restaurant. The package was $7.99 per person. We picked healthy menus in the restaurant because we didn't bring anything that has vegies on it on our own packed lunches which we ate later in the SUV.The adults chose Caesar's salad with grilled chicken and the children got themselves sandwiches....

  • Nachos in the dark!

We didn't so much as choose this diner to eat, rather than came across it first out of two possibilities in the town. There had been fires, so there was a power cut. The proprietors provided us with candles and it was quite exhilarating to be eating in a log cabin by candlelight. The drinks came in large, cool glasses despite the heat (try the...

Being from Texas, I was skeptical as to what to expect when many locals recommended I go to a steakhouse for local Idaho cuisine.Idaho has its roots deeply planted in the pioneer lifestyle, and beef/potatoes are a staple in the Idahoan's diet. The Stagecoach Inn is an interesting piece of Idaho history, very dark and although smoking is no longer...

  • There's a little restaurant in...

There's a little restaurant in Wallace that serves GREAT food at very affordable prices. I think it's called '1313' and if you stop at the visitor center and ask directions, they'll tell you where it is. You should eat there! We also went to the Wolf Lodge for dinner. Interesting 'cabin-like' atmosphere, good steaks and fish. Anything on the menu...

  • One of the best places to go...

One of the best places to go in the Coeur d'Alene area is the Hot Rod Cafe. The food is awesome and it has a very unique atmosphere, which includes round tables, motorcycles, old cars, etc. Tomato Street is good, too, if you like Italian food. Also, unique to Coeur d'Alene is Criquets Restaurant.
