Salmon has fantastic white water rafting. You can go from 1 - 10 days. The 10 day Middle Fork Main Salmon trips are the best.

The Main Salmon River of Idaho, is one America's premier whitewater rafting rivers. For 84 miles, the Main Salmon flows through the wilderness backcountry, past abandonded mines, homesteads, Indian sites and the dwellings of river people who care for the historical sites of those who homesteaded in the canyon years ago.
The river corridor is punctuated with Class III and IV rapids and provides plenty of action for families of all ages, capabilities, and interests.
