Yellow Pine Tavern: Yellow Pine Tavern
jgemini65 Says: We didn't eat here...but I did get a look at the food! It looked great! We were told on arrival that the kitchen was closed! Okay! But the guy sitting next to us had what looked like some sort of scramble with lots of cheese and green onions! Looked good-smelled good-the guy...
jgemini65 Says: You can get to Yellow Pine by foot, car,or motorcycle! And I think the may have a landing strip somewhere nearby for emergency use! It was a nice little adventure by motorcycle...probably nicer than by auto due to the fact that it is a lot of dirt road traveling!
jgemini65 Says: Came across this site on our little trip. There is no more description than this given...but further up the road we came across a forest service sign describing the mining conditions of a hundred years ago! Any connection?

We decided to take off to see what Yellow Pine looked like! It was only around 80 miles away...but the trip there took almost 7 hours round trip by motorcycle!
