Favorite thing: University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Big campus and lots of students. There are lots of campus souvenir shops and a diverse selection of restaurants on Green Street and Wright Street. There are several Chinese restaurants that serve typical Chinese food, Greek restaurants, Italian restaurants, Indian, Middle Eastern, Thai, etc. and lots more. And of course there are American and fast food restaurants too. Pretty convenient place to be if you are a student at UIUC.

Favorite thing: Most C-U'ers will tell you that Urbana has better neighborhoods than Champaign - and essentially, they're right. But there are plenty of beautiful 19th century homes in Champaign, and many of them are excellent examples of their type. This one is right behind the public library.

Favorite thing: See the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign
That for example is the Illini Union it plays a significant role in the University’s social, cultural, and educational environment. It houses meeting rooms, lounges, guest rooms, a browsing library, bowling alley, and a billiard room, as well as the offices of the Alumni Association and many student organizations.

Favorite thing: You should head for Campus, lots of great places to eat and great night life. Pizza is what I miss, so many different kinds.
Fondest memory: I lived in St. Joe just east of Champaign from 1974-1978 and went to high school there. Many great times were spent in Champaign as a teenager just driving around Campus. I miss the friends I made at that time the most. I think the best friends are made in High school and to live so far away from them is to Miss them alot.(KY)

Favorite thing: Visit the University of Illonois campus. The university is the town. It is a huge university so there are tons of bars, restaurants and plenty to do. They have a great bookstore for university spirit items. This is only one portion of the campus.
