Favorite thing: Visit the aquarium, also on the lake, at 1200 S. Lakeshore Drive. It is in Grant Park.

    For information phone:

The museum is open from 9 am to 6 pm weekends, holidays and summers. From Labor Day to Memorial Day weekday hours are 9 am to 5 pm.

Fondest memory: Opened in 1929, Shedd is one of the oldest aquariums in the world. It is also the largest.

Favorite thing: For a first time visitor to Chicago I would take them to the Shed Aquarium and the Field Museum. Then go the dinner at Don Roth's Blackhawk for fabulous steaks.

Fondest memory: My fondest memoties of Chicago are when I was small and we used to go swimming at the beaches by the Museum of Science and Industry. We always took the bus and it was fun to see the different park along the route. We always went early and stayed until we were slightly cooked. It was great fun!

Favorite thing: We went to the beutiful sheds aquarium. and there were many types of animals. Mostly marine animals such as Beluga whales dolphins etc...

Fondest memory: The Sears tower. When we went up in there we saw about 4 different states and in one state it was sunny and in the other it was raining it was so neat. Thats what I missed
