I tend to avoid tea shops because I have the perception that mostly snooty, elitist people frequent them. But some friends of mine insisted that we try Argo Tea. I liked it, a lot! They have a variety of tea and tea combinations. Both times I chose the Chocolate Mint Tea beverage. It was delicious.
There are several locations through Chicagoland. We went to the one down on State Street, kitty-corner from Macy's. There was lots of seating including several desks setup for people with laptops. Another great feature is that they have free wireless!
After doing a lot of walking, we decided it was time for a tea break. We stopped at ARGO TEA where you could have a cup of tea or hot chocolate and if you needed to - hook up to one of the many internet stations in the tea room. Hans bought two chocolate mint teas for a whopping $7.10 which I presume includes use of the internet.
