Coco Pazzo: River North-Tuscan Italian
Coco Pazzo is a classy Italian eatery in River North. Lisa (shekaago) and I went on a weekday afternoon when it was not overly busy, the service was prompt.
Favorite Dish: I started off with a pumpkin ravioli appetizer which was only big enough for one person and ordered the special pizza of the day, a wood fired salami pizza
Coco Pazzo: Upscale Italian
A great, upscale Italian place. You'll feel like you're in a little Tuscan villa when you step into the restaurant. The waitstaff is friendly and knowledgeable without being overbearing. The Tuscan-style food is always delicious.
Favorite Dish: I've never had a bad meal here. I recommend ordering a bottle of wine and trying it all.

Coco Pazzo is one of the best Italian restaurants in Chicago. It is Tuscan-inspired cooking with great pastas, seafoods, and steaks. The interior is comfortable and inviting and the service is always very good.

Lunch: 11:30am - 2:30pm Monday through Friday
Dinner: 5:30pm - 10:30pm Monday through Thursday
5:30pm - 11pm Friday and Saturday
5pm - 10pm Sunday
Favorite Dish: The Osso Bucco is excellent. Also, any risotto special is worth a try. If you like seafood and pasta, try the Spaghetti alla Pirata (shellfish and pasta).
The wine list is full of very good wines. The coffee is also good, and for dessert, you can't go wrong with anything.
The only thing I didn't like was the soup. It was a potato soup and couldn't have been more bland.
Coco Pazzo Cafe: Coco Pazzo Cafe
Coco Pazzo Cafe is an Italian restaurant with a great atmosphere and colorful interior. It is a more casual version of the also-popular Coco Pazzo, one of the best Italian restaurants in Chicago. In summer, it is a nice place to eat outdoors with its sidewalk seating.
Prices are very reasonable and a Sunday brunch is offered with different dishes every week. Service is very good and dishes are filling.
Dress is casual. Reservations are not required but are accepted.
Favorite Dish: For an appetizer, try the Octopus dish. Don't bother with the calamari - I've had better.
The salads are excellent. You can't go wrong with any of them.
For dinner, every person at our table had a pasta dish. I had a taste of a few and the spinach ravioli was my favorite. A risotto of the day is also available.
To finish off your dinner, try a capuccino. They make a good one here.
