When we entered the Blue Chicago, it was instantly apparent that we'd fallen into a tourist trap. The place was full of obvious toursts. The music was good and the beer reasonably priced, but as far as a local joint goes, this wasn't it.
Unique Suggestions:
Find some good music. The Blue Chicago offers 2 bars for the price of admission. If you don't like the music in one place, head down the street to the next one.
