The old core of the town has some moderate, but well kept residential homes. That compares to the new retail and blacktop streets all around the two exits off Hwy 57. Not as quaint.

BruceDunning Says:  It was very pleasant, and the price was good at $70, and that includes a expanded continental breakfast. Rooms were clean and big. The TV had a lot of channels

Plate of pulled pork and sides

They seem to have good food, and a menu that has a little of everything. The items we got had two sides along with the main item. Generally the price range is $8-15. The one pound pulled pork I had was $11, and Micky had a hamburger for $9 plus home made fries for added $1. Prices was reasonable and food good.

Favorite Dish: The one pound smoked and cured pulled pork was a favorite for me. It was good, tasty, and juicy. Some had to get a take out bag.
