The Electric Brew in downtown Goshen opened in April 1996 and has become one of the most popular destinations in town for the college crowd. The story of how the Electric Brew came to be is rather interesting. It was started by a Goshen College student and her husband when she graduated in 1995. Originally from Oregon, she felt Goshen really needed a coffeehouse. And thus The Brew, as it's known locally, was born. Since then, Starbucks has tried to invade town but you can't beat the atmosphere at The Brew, especially on the weekends when there is live music. While The Brew specializes in coffee and bakery products, they do serve a rotating lunch menu from 11:00AM - 1:30PM. The Brew is open from 6:30AM to 10:00PM Monday - Thursday and 6:30AM to 11:00PM Fridays and Saturdays, closed Sundays. The Brew also offers Wi-Fi internet service but they do request a $1 donation per use.

Arrive early and get a great spot. Air show starts at 12:00 in the afternoon and the airport quickly gets crowded. Arriving early will secure you a great seat and time to shop for any snacks or drinks, Be sure to bring a blanket or chairs to sit. (they are not provided) Some type of lighting is always recommended when walking in big crowds. Lighting such as glow sticks and flash lights are a good essential to bring along.
Dress Code: At this time of the year it's always a great idea to bring along a sweater. I would recommend wearing long pants, because of the insects that are always around this season.
