All paths lead to Indy
The Indianapolis airport isn't too large, so it's easy to use. One can easily drive there too - it seems all Indiana highways lead to Indianapolis!
I always drive a car (my own or borrow a relative's). The city is laid out somewhat logically, so it's not hard to get around. Highway 465 encircles the city, so you can't go too astray.
Indianapolis International Airport has flights comming in from all over the US. Also it is easy to get to by car, you can use bus also.
If you want to range more than downtown a car is an almost must. You can use the city buses, but they don't always go where you want to go..Taxies are expensive, and you usualy have to call to have them pick you up. No subway or light rail.
I don't know much about Indy,...
I don't know much about Indy, but from what I've seen and heard, it's a cool city. Fly in to the airport, or drive through.
I'm sure there is a good bus service here, but I'd rent a car. I think that's best.
