    Time Zone:
Holiday World & Splashin' Safari operate on Central Time. This is the same time as Evansville, Nashville (Tennessee), St. Louis and Chicago, but one hour "behind" Indianapolis, Louisville, Cincinnati and New York.
Smaller children will play and play in Crocodile Isle! With its two pools and connecting slides?plus the bubblers, water jets and fun animal slides, there's a whole lot of splashin' going on!
    For Youngest Little Children:
Get super saturated while playing in Jungle Jets. Laugh and play in this giant "sprayground" full of water geysers, drenching spray arches and more (163 water "elements," to be exact!).

Home On The Hill: Peace In Living

    by Valentime2004 Written Nov 21, 2004

    1.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

I taken the time to put a different twist on nightlife as it really is not what is imagined in the mind or found within 4 walls at some club.

Peace RULES! here & is as heavily protected and guarded as one might find the Gold is in Fort Knox!

Dress Code: Dress requirements range from casual to pajamas.

Seriously, everyone respects his neighbor privacy here and have a deep fondness for the serenity that they are Blessed with by living here.

    A Skunk, YES!

Jasper Warnings and Dangers

  • Valentime2004's Profile Photo

    Yes! It does also SNOW!

    by Valentime2004 Written Nov 21, 2004

Every precaution possible is taken when the climate turns to White!
Indiana has the VERY BEST! snow removal crews found anyplace, they work non-stop thru any night & day where weather may pose a risk for travel.
Still, it is best to always keep your cell-phone handy & a working portable radio to make travel during these times less demanding.

This is the very small Jasper Train Station. The tracks actually run alongside a river for some miles.

A magic water stream that flows on into...

    by Valentime2004 Written Jan 16, 2004

This is a must for any traveler. You seldom find a hidden stream but this one can catch your eye if you relax and are able to drive slow enough to SEE IT! It took me completely
by SURPRISE! I passed this sight numerous times untill one day as i ventured along Hwy 64 on my way to town in Jasper. You will love this calm peaceful setting that nature seems
to have tucked away in this countryside.
