Microbrewery, but still pretty much an anybody eatery (meaning, families, older crowd, younger crowd are all present). Anyway, the food is really good, as is the beer, so stop in. It's one of the few local-type restaurants that we have, and probably one of the best.

There are a number of restaurants along US 52 as you get away from the river and out toward the mall, like O'Charley's and Applebee's. There's even an Orang Julius and a Cinnabon at Tippecanoe Mall, if you're interested in that sort of thing. ;) Leave a Comment Theme: Other

This is a wonderful restaurant housed in an old renovated building on Main Street. The lunch crowd can be full of business people-you know what they say-when in doubt follow the local work crowd! Their lunch menu is great, salads are crisp and tasty with fresh ingredients, and not a tired lettuce leaf to be seen. Their soups are flavourful and their quiches just melt in your mouth. For a truly romantic eveing, try dinner! The interior is clean and fresh with a French Country flavour. For some extra interest, request a table at the window so you can watch the world go by. Reservations are recommended for dinner.
I have no particular favourite dish, everything we have had here has been fresh and full of flavour. I do have to admit that their baked brie is a must have for any "cheese-a-holic" They have a varied wine list, with some great bargains. I also have to mention their desert menu....something for everyone here, including home made ice cream! LBC is the area's only microbrewery. They have a great variety of hand-crafted brews that they make year-round as well as some fantastic seasonal beers. They do not make a light beer, so don't ask. They sell wine for those of you who are watching calories.
They offer traditional pub fare and a couple unique dishes. One of the better restaraunts in the area.
The second floor offers up entertainment every weekend; be it band, comedy, whatever. They also have a pizza kitchen on the second floor that is worth checking out.
The Cobb Salad. This thing has it all. It is loaded with chicken, avocado, lettuce, bleu cheese, etc. The best way to have them prepare it is to ask for blackened chicken with honey mustard. It is one hearty salad.
As far as apetizers go, you owe it to yourself to try the fried pickles. Leave a Comment
